What is Charme Dance AI and how do you make one?
Charme Dance AI is the English name for the baile charme AI trend: a short video in which a person dances the charme step in a packed night-time party crowd, made by AI from a photo. Baile Charme AI makes the 12 second version from one picture of you, with the viral clip's original sound and no watermark. Upload a photo above.
What charme dance means
"Charme" is a Brazilian style of dancing to R&B and soul, done in lines and steps, and it belongs to the baile charme parties of Rio de Janeiro. English-speaking viewers shortened the trend to "charme dance", while Spanish and Portuguese speakers say "baile charme". The AI videos borrow the look of that party, not its footage. If you want the real culture first, read what baile charme is.
The step
The move has four parts you can see in every version:
- Shoulders. They bounce on each beat while the rest of the body stays loose.
- Forearms. They swing left and right in front of the hips.
- Forward lean. Knees soft, the dancer leans in and slides the hands past each other at waist height.
- Side step. A small slide to one side and back, which keeps the groove going.
The 12 second clip walks through them in order, with a look back at the start and a turn at the end.
Why the step is easy to recognise
Charme is danced in lines, with set steps that a whole floor repeats together, so one clean move reads at a glance even in a crowd. That is why the trend's shaky phone clip works: the step is the whole joke. Baile Charme AI does not accept photos of celebrities or public figures, so your video should show you or someone who agreed. The trend page covers where the clip came from.
Making yours
